Tuition - Singing

We have four singing teachers working at the NMC.

Jenny Moore

Jenny began singing at the age of 13 in small music groups and school performances. After studying music at Newcastle College she sang in various bands in North East England and on cruise ships around the world - she has recently returned from a two-month cruise in the Caribbean. As well as her busy teaching schedule at the NMC and in local schools Jenny sings with local bands, specialising in function work.

Richard Judson BA (Hons)

Richard began singing at the age of seven in his local church choir. After several years singing regularly with choirs and amateur operatic societies he then went on to sing with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain and subsequently studied a BA (Hons) in Communication Arts specialising in music at York St. John College. During his time in York he built up a wealth of performance experience and developed a wide repertoire ranging from early music to musical theatre. Richard recently returned to the North East and is currently studying towards an MMus in performance at the University of Newcastle. Richard also plays the piano, guitar and double bass and is a founder member of the Keel Row Ceilidh Band in which he plays bass guitar.
