We have three singing teachers working at the NMC.
Jenny Moore
Jenny began singing at the age of 13 in small music groups and school performances. After studying music at Newcastle College she sang in various bands in North East England and on cruise ships around the world - she has recently returned from a two-month cruise in the Caribbean. As well as her busy teaching schedule at the NMC and in local schools Jenny sings with local bands, specialising in function work.

Richard Judson BA (Hons)
Richard began singing at the age of 7 with his local church choir. He went on to sing with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain before completing a BA (Hons) in Communication Arts specialising in music at York St. John College. This was followed by a masters degree in vocal performance at The University of Newcastle. Richard performs regularly as a soloist with a wide ranging repertoire from classical to musical theatre to popular styles. As well as teaching at the NMC he works as a peripatetic singing teacher at two secondary schools and as a vocal coach and musical director with a number of theatre groups. He has experience of successfully preparing students for ABRSM and LCM exams and diplomas in classical singing and musical theatre. Past students have gone on to perform professionally and gain places at some of the countries leading theatre schools and universities.

Lucy Mair MMus BA (Hons)
Lucy was a music scholar at Rossall School in Lancashire and graduated in Music in 2003 from Royal Holloway, University of London. She then went on to study for a post-diploma in Chamber Music at Benedetto Marcello Conservatoire in Venice. During her final year of university, Lucy joined the BBC Symphony Chorus, with whom she performed in the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and in concerts at the Barbican Hall in London. She has also been involved in radio performances on BBC Radio 3. Lucy performs regularly as a soloist, taking part in Newcastle Early Music Festival and Newcastle New Music Festival. Lucy has recently been awarded a bursary to sing in a masterclass with renowned Early Music specialist Emma Kirkby at this year's Dartington International Summer School.
